Shopping Small with Vintage Market Days of Nashville
I absolutely LOVE giving gifts. If gift shopping and gift giving could be an Olympic sport, just go on and give me the gold. I realize this is a little cocky of me but I truly love it.
My biggest struggle with my awesome gift giving abilities is my budget. Ugh, yep I said it. I am too broke to afford my gifting habit. My Christmas gifts often include a mix of handmade gifts created by my little ones and gifts from unique small shops.
The first resource that probably pops into your head when shopping small is ETSY. ETSY is a wonderful melting pot of small shops, I adore it and am obsessed with it. However, at Christmas time the absolute best place for shopping small is your local Christmas Craft Fair or Holiday Market.
I love to shop small at holiday markets because so many of the products are local. It’s a fantastic feeling to know that when you shop small, you are providing the opportunity for a local merchant to provide Christmas for their family. When I shop at the markets I also get so much more for my money, the quality is always better and the packaging is typically perfection.
My absolute favorite holiday market is, Vintage Market Days. Vintage Market Days is a vintage inspired upscale market. The market has venders with art, antiques, clothing, jewelry, home decorations, furnishings, and yummy treats. If you are in the Nashville area this is a market you don’t want to miss.
