Krafty Christmas Wrapping
Have you begun to deck the halls yet? Or maybe you are like many mamas and you are way over decking the halls and just counting down the days till the big man in red comes and you can put your feet up with a glass (or bottle) of wine.
I know that may sound like Scrooge, but as much joy that comes with the holidays, it’s also so exhausting when you’re calendar looks busier than ever.
I’m sure many of you have finished wrapping your Christmas gifts, but for me, I just started.
Typically, the days following Christmas you can find me in Target scouring the Christmas clearance searching for next year’s wrapping paper. However, between moving and pure craziness, I couldn’t seem to locate my infamous wrapping paper. I took this opportunity to do something a little different and a lot cheaper this year. I love how it turned out and I can’t wait to share it with you!
I am about to revolutionize all your holiday wrapping using KRAFT PAPER. I purchased my kraft paper from the Dollar Tree.
Kraft paper is awesome. It is much more durable and doesn’t rip as easily as wrapping paper, plus one roll of $1 kraft paper goes so far.
Here are the materials I used:
- Wired ribbon: To create pretty bows wired ribbon is key.
- Christmas tree clippings: Did you know The Home Depot will give you the clippings for free, just spray them with shellac so they will stay green.
- Sharpie: Here’s another first for me, I just wrote the names on the kraft paper.
Here are my gifts:
