The Happenings:: New Years Eve in Nashville with Kids!
Gone are the days when New Years Eve revolved around confetti covering the ground and the sounds of popping Champaign corks.
These days we are too broke to afford the premium New Years Eve baby sitting fee, especially for three kids. New Years Eve might not be as festive as it once was before having kids, yet there is truly no other group of people I’d rather bring in the new year with.
I have been scouring the internet to find kid friendly places to go around Nashville on New Years and here are my findings:
Discovery Center Murfreesboro: Countdown to Noon
Saturday, December 30, 10 am – 5 pm: Bring in the New Year with a balloon drop at noon. Free for members or regular admission.

Bowling is also a great kid friendly activity, so be sure to check out your local bowling alley.
