My Favorite Things:: Disney Edition

Oh friends, it feels like its been YEARS since we visited Disney World. In reality its only been three and a half weeks. My family and I have been fighting illnesses since the day we got back from the most magical place on earth. But all that doesn’t matter, what is important, is that my family is now healthy and we are still eating Mickey gummies leftover from our snack credits.

I have multiple Disney blog ideas, eventually they are going to get published but for today I decided to focus on My Favorite Things: Disney Edition!

I am channeling my inner Oprah Winfrey for this favorite things blog post. Too bad I cant giveaway all these items to you, that would be quite the blog post.

Disney Travel Agent

My travel agent is Sarah Moske, with I’m Your Fairy Godmother. Sarah and I have been friends for about 4 years now and she is the only one I’d trust to plan my vacation. Sarah knows ALL THINGS DISNEY. A travel agent is 100% free to you, I’m serious, there are no gimmicks. Sarah will book all your dining reservations (she knows the BEST places) and she even wakes up early to schedule the best Fast Passes she can get. Travel Agents are also the first people who hear about any deals that Disney has to offer.

All you need is a $200 deposit for each room reserved to book through I’m Your Fairy Godmother. The rest of your payment will be due at a later time, which is great for those who are still saving up.

Mini Princesses

I’m not going to say that Olive was the biggest fan of Disney, but getting to dress her like a princess for three straight days melted my girl mom heart. Each of Olives bows were from Dumbow Shoppe on Etsy. These bows are the BEST bows ever.

Port Orleans French Quarter

This was our first time staying at Port Orleans Resort. It is such a nice resort with a lot to offer. Port Orleans offers a boat that will go directly to Disney Springs. It also has a wonderful pool that includes a splash pad for younger children, which I love.

Side note:: When we visited, our resort offered us a $30 Disney Gift Card if we declined maid services. You are still able to request fresh towels and amenities, you just don’t have a freshly made bed everyday.

Speaking of Disney Springs

I really like going to Disney Springs for souvenirs. My kids received a certain amount of money and I made them save it till they found a unique experience. I didn’t want them to come home with items that could be purchased at Target. At Disney Springs we found Star Wars Galactic Outpost. The boys had the opportunity to build their own Droid and Lightsaber, they had so much fun doing this. The Lightsabers were $26 each and the Droids were $20 for two (so $10 each).

Disney World Food

Okay, I know that is a broad statement but I highly enjoy the food at Disney World. I am also a huge fan of the Disney Meal plans, especially since Table Service meals now include one alcoholic beverage. I’m still trying to detox and get my “system” back to normal (gosh, I just sound like such a old lady) but it was worth it.

Cunningham’s Favorite Disney Restaurants::

Magic Kingdom:
Sleepy Hallow
Aloha Island
Be Our Guest
Columbia Harbor House

Animal Kingdom:
Boma (at the resort)
Flame Tree BBQ
Yak and Yeti

Hollywood Studios:
Andy’s Lunchbox
50’s Prime Time
Writers Stop
Backlot Express

Others: Cape May, Chef Mickeys

Sorry, I don’t have particular favorites for Epcot from this trip, but seriously, every restaurant there is yummy.

We’ve Got Ears, Say Cheers

I was so excited to work with two amazing shops for my ears. I mean, you cant go the Disney and not wear some amazing ears

Gingham and Dots:

These ears were incredible. If you like a light weight ear, these are for you. I totally forgot I was wearing them. Gingham and Dots ears go with everything, no matter what your Mickey style is.

Dumbow Shoppe:

I cant stop dreaming about these ears. Dumbow Shoppe produces one of a kind ears with impeccable attention to detail. They are perfectly crafted and so unique.

Tee Shirts

If you are already wearing ears, you might as well dress the part as well.

Magnolia Shirt Company
Splatter Custom Tees
Ginger Peach Tees

Custom Magic Bands

My Fantasy Bands are the best way to customize your magic bands. I love how durable they are. My Fantasy Bands are waterproof and so easy to use. These decals made my kids supper excited to wear their magic bands ALL the time.

My Fantasy Bands even provided all my reader with a magical discount code, use: myconfettilife15 for 15% off your order.

Okay, so I know this is a random list. But now you know the things I LOVE most. In the coming weeks/days I’m going to be publishing more Disney blogs, because there is just SOO much to tell. Toodles
