Conquering The 1pm Mom Wall With pureLYFT

at

I was planning this long post on how to gain extra energy to help you reach those new year’s goals. You know, the typical goals of exercising more, being active, and losing that baby weight left over from your three-year-old toddler. However, the truth is, doing this whole mom thing means I just need to find extra energy to simply survive the day.

Do you hit a mom wall too?

For me it comes around 1pm. At that time, you can find me sluggishly (and with a guilty conscience) handing my toddler boys the iPad. I then put the baby down for a nap and suddenly instead of conquering the pile of dishes I put my feet up and watch old episodes of Greys or Friends. I can promise you this, if it wasn’t 1pm I would also be sipping on a glass of wine, but that’s a post for another day.

Back to this whole energy epidemic or lack thereof.

My previous tools for getting past the 1pm wall has been to load up on coffee that contains the addition of some ridiculously sweet creamer. I have also used energy powders. The powders seem to always make me shaky and then leave me with a terrible hangover headache…that’s the last thing I need.

I was so excited to get to partner up with pureLYFT.

pureLYFT is a clean caffeine alternative. They use unroasted green coffee beans to create their portable caffeine stir sticks.
pureLYFT is:

• Zero Calories
• All-natural
• Clean taste
• Nothing artifical
• Non preservatives
• Vegan
• Non-GMO
• Made in the USA
• Easy to Use

Because pureLYFT has such a wonderful clean taste with no sour after taste I was able to create a few drink recipes using the pureLYFT sticks, enjoy:

Orange Infused Green Tea

One glass of iced green tea
One orange, sliced
Orange pureLYFT stick

Mixed Berry Orange Fizz

Half a glass of Cranberry/Lime Seltzer Water
Splash of orange juice
Sliced strawberries
Blueberries
Mixed Berry pureLYFT stick

Moms Iced Coffee

One glass of black iced coffee (I like Starbucks)
Splash of Almond Milk
Original pureLYFT stick.

These are just some of my favorites. Be sure to check out pureLYFT for some other yummy recipe ideas.
